Saturday was spent wisely for the first time. Steamboat for three people. The amount of food we ate were horrendous. Yes, all of us were starving. Using the tongs, we picked up the raw food which in the end turned out to be more meat than vegetables.
Currently, I am still reading Blue Moon. God, when can I finish it? I don't want to spend my time hogging myself with the book about Richard.

Trying hard to build up my wardrobe, but "No money, no talk".

A random post part 1

Sometimes, when people crosses you, you just holler at them. When they are your friends, you are put in a dilemma. Often when you look back to all the past quarrels or misunderstandings, you will feel a sense of sensibility that you would not offend the same mistakes. If things actually do go to a stage where everything is irreversible, you break up with them. Most people bawl over the losses and pick themselves up while agony still overwhelms the others.
Ignore this post because it is totally random. Since I read and watched so much things these last few days, I felt that I should post it.

Greg Heffley was in the stages of entering middle school. He was worried about Rowley, a rather good friend of his, whose demeanor was not appealing, would affect his popularity in school. Greg was determined to make everything right for himself. Chirag Gupta, at some point in time, warned the both of them about a slab of cheese laying on the school ground was not to be touched. If anyone touched it, they would be condemned immediately and be an outcast of the school. The problem can only be resolved if that person managed to pass the cheese touch to someone else. Greg wanted to be a "class favourite" but his attempts were futile as they only further embarrassed him. Rowley rose to his popularity after an incident. The friendship between Greg and Rowley fell apart when Greg became wimpy. In the end, both made up and were best friends again. However, what made them patch up? Did Greg really become popular in the end?
Initially, my thoughts for this movie was about a cliche story where a boy was bullied fairly often. However, I came to realize the word "wimp" comes in different forms. It happened when you refuse to own up for your mistakes. In addition, you have to let your friend take the blame. This film contains a very important message that many people are offending, which is to be oneself. Overall, I found the film to be mediocre.

The rebellion against the Gods began. Perseus's adopted family caught in between the fight of Hades and the soldiers of Argos, died unfortunately. The surviving soldiers found the then unconscious Perseus and brought him back to Argos. The King and Queen of Argos were preparing a feast for the returning soldiers. Hades yet again appeared and killed the Queen along with some of the other soldiers. He revealed that the Kraken would be released in ten days. In order to save Argos, Princess Andromeda must be sacrificed. Perseus discovered that he was a demigod and not just an ordinary man. Lo, a woman who was cursed with agelessness, advised Perseus that he had only one way to avenge the death of his family: defeat the Kraken. He was sent out with a group of soldiers to seek the Stygian Witches. Along the journey, they encountered Acrisius, giant scorpions and a group of Djins who later helped them to conquer the scorpions. They started traveling again after the disruption, to the Garden of Stygia. The witches told them how to defeat the Kraken after some struggles. What is the method to truly defeat the Kraken? Will Perseus survive the ordeal or will he die in the process just like the witches said?

Clash of the Titans is an epic film of medieval times. My eyes were transfixed at the screen throughout the entire movie. Sam Worthington was cast as Perseus. He was not a charming man as a person but he portrayed the character rightly. Another actor that made me respect him was Ralph Fiennes. He was able to play the role with intensity just like Voldemort in Harry Potter. The surroundings where Perseus and the group traveled to, were sculptured beautifully added with a tinge of loneliness. The creatures were much more hideous, unlike the ones in Percy Jackson. Generally, the verdict of the film would be magnificent.
